I'M NOT HUNTED SO, I WON'T HAUNT YOU!
COMMON LEISURE DOES NOT USE MATERIALS THAT ORIGINATE FROM EXOTIC OR ENDANGERED ANIMALS.
We never use exotic or endangered animal skins, angora down or feathers in our collections. For their quality and longevity properties, we prefer to work with materials like GOTS certified organic cotton, GOTS certified organic linen, TENCEL and recycled polyester, sourced from our long-term eco-friendly suppliers.
THE IMPACT OF OUR PRODUCTS
We carefully consider aesthetics, functionality, quality and the impact of our garments throughout their life cycle. In an effort to reduce textile waste, we do the best thing we could do: offering well-made, timeless garments that can stand the test of time. We also actively manage the environmental impact of our waste by repurposing deadstock materials from previous collections to be used in further collection sampling and production.
CARE IN DETAILS
We choose to use materials like horn buttons and 100% cotton linings in our garments.
CARE FOR WATER
We responsibly manage our production processes using technologies such as ozone or cold pad batch to help reduce water consumption.
CARE FOR A MORE SUSTAINABLE TANNING PROCESS
Working with LWG-certified tanneries that adopt responsible tanning practices allows us to carry out washing, dyeing or tanning processes in a more sustainable way.
OUR SUPPLIERS & OUR OPERATIONS
We co-operate with transparent and responsible sourcing partners to promote fair working conditions in our supply chain.
We do our best to be a responsible employer while choosing responsible team members and partners that consider the ethical and environmental impact of our operational activities.
We work to make our production chain more sustainable over time to this end; we create local workplaces in which workers, entrepreneurs, trade unions, governments and communities can cooperate and converse.
We work with production houses operating locally in Turkey and our suppliers are from Spain and Italy as well as Turkey. Transparency is fundamental in our relationships with all of our suppliers. We know exactly where our materials are coming from, ensuring that our supply chain meets our rigorous sustainability requirements. Our suppliers are obliged to declare all the facilities and processes they use to make each garment: from the facilities in which they cut, make/sew and finish/trim to their laundering, printing, dry-cleaning and spinning facilities and beyond – all of which are bound by our standards and monitoring schemes.
PACKAGING
We keep our packaging to a minimum in order to reduce waste and recycle our packing where possible.
COMMITMENTS
We are fully committed to supporting all our workers and suppliers.
We work closely with suppliers to ensure they are following official guidance to protect the health of workers in factories during the pandemic.
We ensure that all orders that are in production are completely paid according to the original payment schedule, making full payment even in the event that current circumstances mean that it’s not yet possible for the products to be shipped.
